Instructions to Authors:
Journal of Scientific and Innovative Research (JSIR Journal) is an internationally, peer reviewed, bimonthly published Open Access online  research journal aimed at publishing recent advances in the form of Scientific & Innovative Research and Review articles in thrust areas of Medical, Dental, Agriculture and Life Sciences such as Pharmacy, Biology and Chemistry.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Journal charge a very nominal fee to attract high quality submissions and relieve the financial burden for researchers. Journal also provide the waiving off facility to non funded articles case by case.

Suggest Reviewers: Please suggest 2-5 reviewers to comment on your paper. Suggested reviewers help us ensure that your paper will experience a swift and expedient review process. Suggested reviewers should not be at your institution, current collaborators, and should have some expertise in your content discipline. Manuscript preparation
Manuscript should be concisely typewritten in double space in A4 sized sheets, with a 2 cm margin on all sides. The manuscript shall be prepared in Times New Roman front using a font size 12. All section titles in the manuscript shall be in font size 14, bold face lower case. The pages shall be numbers consequently. The length of Review/Science Education article should not exceed 25 manuscript pages to include figures, tables and references. No abbreviations on acronyms shall be used in the titles or Abstract acronyms except for measurements. All references, figure (Fig.) and tables (Table) in the text shall be numbered consequently as they first appear. Abbreviations like “&” and “etc” shall be avoided in the paper. There shall not be decorative borders anywhere in the text including the title page. These entire MS word document with graphs and illustration pasted in it shall not exceed 2 MB.

 

RESEARCH PAPERS
New, significant, innovative and original findings are suitable as Original Research papers.

Title Page:
The title must be as brief as possible, comprehensive and descriptive.
It should not be more than 14 words. Each author must provide their full name including their forenames and surname. The Corresponding Author of the manuscript must be marked with an asterisk, and should be listed first. In addition the corresponding author must include telephone, fax and E-mail address at the bottom left corner of the title page. If any of the co-authors are from different organizations, their addresses too should be mentioned and indicated using numbers after their names.

Abstract:
Should start on a new page after the title page and should present the novelty of the study, the main findings, and principal conclusions, not more than 250 words. All the three categories, Review Articles, Original Research papers and Short Communications should have an Abstract.

Keywords:
3-6 keywords are to be provided by the authors. These keywords should be typed at the end of the abstract on the same page.

Introduction
The introduction should not be an extensive literature review although it should provide sufficient background information for the reader to understand and evaluate the results of the present study.

Materials and Methods
The section should include sufficient technical information to allow the experiments to be performed. Procedural detail that has been published previously should be referred to by citation.

Results
Results should be described as concisely as possible in one of the following ways: text, table(s), or figure(s). The reproducibility and statistical significance of measurements, material or biological data, must be included where relevant. There must not be any overlap between results shown in table and results written in text. Results should appear in logical sequence i.e. most important results should be written first. Absolute value should be written with method of description like percentages, mean, median etc.

Discussion
The discussion should provide an interpretation of the results and their significance with regard to previously published work.  Discussion should start with summary of main results. All results should be interpreted and compared with existing knowledge of the subject. Reasons for the findings should be discussed. Implication of results obtained should be discussed in detail. Limitations of the study should also be mentioned.

Conclusion
A short, paragraph summarizing the most important finding(s) of the research is Required.

Acknowledgments
The source of any financial support, gifts, technical assistance and advice received for the work being published must be indicated in the Acknowledgments section.

References
Responsibility for the accuracy of bibliographic citations lies entirely with authors. Citations of literature in the text must be presented in numerical order and a separate Reference List should be supplied. Type numbers in square brackets and do not use superscripts. References should include the list of authors (first name-abbreviated, last name), title of the article, Journal/Book title, (book publisher), year, volume number, issue number and page number.

Tables
All tables must be numbered consecutively (using Arabic numerals) and be cited in the text. Titles should be short but descriptive. Each table should be on a separate sheet, together with a legend and/or footnotes identified by superscripts a, b, c, etc. Do not use vertical lines and keep horizontal rules to a minimum. In tables, the units are usually in brackets following the quantity, and the font should be Times New Roman and font size of 10.

Figures
Figures (photographs, drawing, diagrams and charts) are to be numbered in one Consecutive series of Arabic numerals in the order in which they are cited in the text and Abbreviated as Fig. X. The captions for figures should be typed on a separate sheet of Paper under i°Figure Legends±.

Formula and equations
Structural and chemical formula, process flow diagrams and complicated mathematical Expressions should be very clearly presented. All subscripts, Greek letters and unusual Characters must be identified. Structural and chemical formulae as well as process flow Diagrams should be prepared in the same way as graphs.

REVIEW ARTICLES
Review articles should not be more than 25 pages and contain comprehensive coverage of relevant literature. Review articles should preferably be written by scientists who have in-depth knowledge of the topic. All format requirements are similar to those applicable to Research papers. Review articles need not to be divided into sections such as Materials and methods, and Results and discussion, but should definitely have an abstract and introduction.

SHORT COMMUNICATIONS
The research and technical communications section of this journal (maximum 3,000 words) is open to interesting results worthy of publication without requiring extensive introduction and discussion. This section should be organized as follows: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion (combined). Not more than 10 references should be provided. Tables, figures and references are to be arranged in the same way as for research papers. Brevity of presentation is essential for this section.

COPYRIGHT GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
The corresponding author must sign the "Transfer of Copyright" agreement before the article can be published. The transfer agreement enables (AJPLS) to protect the copyrighted material for the author, but does not relinquish the author's proprietary rights. The copyright transfer covers the rights to authors and readers to reproduce, including reprints, photographic reproductions or any other reproductions of similar nature and translations, and includes the right to adapt the article for use in conjunction with computer systems and programs, including reproduction or publication. Transfer of copyright agreement forms will be sent to the corresponding author following acceptance of the manuscript.

Assurances
For all research manuscripts (including educational research), the author should indicate in the Cover Letter that the research has been reviewed and approved by the appropriate human research or ethics review committee, or that it has been determined to be exempt from such review. For research that has undergone such review and approval, a statement to that effect should be included in the methods section.

Reviewing
All manuscripts submitted will be peer-reviewed, usually in consultation with Editorial Advisory Board and a number of external referees. Authors may also, provide contact details (including e-mail addresses) of potential peer reviewers for their paper. The reviewer suggested by author should not be from same institution.

Proof Corrections
Corresponding Author will receive PDF version of their manuscript for proof reading after acceptance of the article. Proofs should be checked for typographical errors and returned within 48 hours. Major changes are not acceptable at the proof stage. The corresponding author will be solely responsible for ensuring that revised version has consent of all the authors and it must reach editorial office within stipulated time.

Withdrawal of Manuscript

* If the author authors/conference organizers/or a third party requests a withdrawal of manuscript, within a week period (w.e.f. the date of our acknowledgement email of the receipt of a manuscript at our end). The author is allowed to withdraw the manuscript without paying any withdrawal penalty.
* However, If the authors/conference organizers/or a third party withdraw manuscripts any time after final manuscript has already been submitted to Journals for processing, the request will not entertained without a withdrawal penalty, which is basically to cover cost incurred and also to check such practices.
* If the author still wants to withdraw manuscript, the author needs to submit a written letter to Journals stating the reasons for manuscript withdrawal along with (INR 2500/USD 50) as Manuscript Withdrawal Charges.
